FOCUS:  Friends of Christ United for Service
Our purpose is to make the love of God visible by exploring present-day applications of the Good Samaritan scripture:  “Go and do likewise.”  (Luke 10:37)   

We believe that it is important to let God’s love flow freely through us to touch humanity, and that the hearts of unbelievers can be softened by meeting their physical needs. The Good Samaritan did not preach, but communicated mercy and love through his deed.  We believe there is a reason that Jesus said, “Go and do likewise.”

Our volunteers have:
      - raised funds to send youth to summer camp
      - raised funds for the church’s assistance program
      - presented programs at nursing homes
      - collected food and volunteered at food banks
      - taught English to immigrants
      - presented special events for seniors and for youth
      - provided volunteers for the Christmas Cheer Program
      - donated over 200 books to a nursing home library
